MEET SCOTT THEISSEN
OWNER/PRACTICE MANAGER
Lizzy Norwood is a board-certified Family and Emergency Nurse Practitioner with an extensive background in emergency medicine, primary care, mental health, and addiction counseling. As a provider in a critical access emergency department, she has cared for patients facing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions while developing a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to healthcare.
In addition to her medical expertise, Lizzy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addiction Counselor with years of experience helping individuals overcome mental health and substance use challenges. Her unique combination of medical and behavioral health training allows her to understand the strong connection between physical and emotional wellness, enabling her to treat the whole person rather than simply addressing symptoms.
Lizzy also serves as a college psychology professor, where she is passionate about educating future healthcare professionals and promoting evidence-based practice. Her commitment to lifelong learning ensures that her patients receive the highest standard of compassionate, individualized care.

As the Owner and Practice Manager of Legacy Health, Scott Theissen is committed to redefining what healthcare should be—personalized, accessible, and centered around the individual. A longtime Montana resident, Scott is passionate about health, fitness, and living an active lifestyle. Whether he's in the gym, exploring the outdoors, or enjoying everything the Flathead Valley has to offer, he understands firsthand the importance of optimizing health to maximize quality of life.
Scott founded Legacy Health after recognizing a significant need in the Flathead Valley for a practice focused on prevention, optimization, and exceptional patient care without the barriers often created by traditional insurance-based medicine. His vision is to restore the focus of healthcare to where it belongs: building meaningful relationships with patients, providing individualized treatment plans, and delivering high-quality care at transparent, reasonable prices.
